Mudmasky masks are made with natural ingredients. Most of these ingredients are from an organic source. But we do NOT advertise them as "organic".
Nowadays the name “Organic” is also being used by many skin care companies, but the meaning of the term is rather vague. Unlike food items, consumers are not protected in the skincare industry when the name organic on an item is being (mis)used.
Back in 2015 we wrote about what organic skincare actually is. Learn more.
Consumer safety is our top priority at Mudmasky. All Mudmasky Masks are made in The Netherlands. We produce our masks with the highest industry standards. Mudmasky is tested by an independent company named Balis Micro BV, based in the Netherlands.
Mudmasky only uses ingredients derived from natural resources. All ingredients are skin-friendly. This does not mean that some ingredients, like Polysorbate 20, aren’t (synthetically) modified. We have used less than 3% modified ingredients. The reason that we have used some modified ingredients is because theoretically it’s impossible to use a substitute for that ingredient.
We use a tube with a so-called EVOH barrier, which is especially designed for Mudmasky. This tube ensures freshness of the ingredients (including anti-oxidants) for 12 months after opening. Mudmasky is made with natural ingredients so they will react to extreme heat or cold. Store Mudmasky at room temperature, out of direct sunlight to maximize product life and efficacy.
